Question Concerning Reinstall Please?
Good afternoon, everyone. I am hoping someone might be able to help me with a question.
I will be returning to Guild Wars this weekend, but was curious concerning the installation of the game. I purchased the original Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns as they were released, and the key codes for all 3 campaigns are registered to my Guild Wars account. I need to reinstall the game, but (a) no longer have access to the original CDs (I have misplaced the CDs during an apartment move), and (b) I don't really want to have to download the full 4 GB package from the Internet (yes, I have broadband, but even 4 GB can be a pain to download). Since I have the 3 campaign keys registered to my account, would I be able to reinstall all 3 campaigns from the Guild Wars Trilogy Trial that is available in most of the game stores currently? From what I understand, this DVD contains all 3 campaigns on 1 DVD, and should (at least I hope it will) install exactly what I need to start playing again. Can anyone shed some further light on this for me please? Thanks for your help! |

The Trilogy pack has the data for all 3 games so i think it be safe to assume that yes, you can buy that and install it and when at the login screen just use your account info.

While that would indeed preclude your need for a huge download, it seems like a waste of fifty bucks. You would be paying for something you already own. Unless you need a second account for some unknown reason, I think you are better off just letting the program update overnight.

Yes I believe the trial is only 5 bucks but with all the effort of having to go out to the store to pick it up I would just download from the internet. I guess I'm lazy and cheap.
